The Sunless Earth
The project is rooted in a childhood experience of nyctophobia, the fear of darkness, not driven by imagined threats, but by the anxiety of losing sight after closing my eyes. From that early sensation, this work expands into a reflection on future uncertainties, climate instability, and the quiet unease that comes with not knowing what lies ahead.
This series was photographed across two winters in both hemispheres.
